Price £8 If you haven't tried it yet this is what it is all about: My idea has been to build the 'perfect' class for ladies of a certain age. As we continue down our path we need to build our strength, our cardio fitness as well as our suppleness, but in a safe, sustainable way, without injury or embarrassment. I feel it's difficult for women of a certain age to just walk in and take part in a regular fitness class, our anxiety levels are off the scale, pelvic floor is questionable and the only thing we'll run for is a bus lol. I have built and trialled this 1 hour class that is yoga based. It has a yoga warm up, a strength routine, using your own body weight, we increase cardio fitness with a HIIT (high intensity interval training) but you can take a breather whenever you need to, its your workout. We finish with a short yoga practice for your flexibility and pelvic floor. I promise that there is NO running involved and not a burpee in sight. I'm looking for new venues to expand to, as we speak. Current Yoga Fit timetable: Wednesdays Wye Road Community Centre 11.15-12.15pm Priory School, Hanford 7-8pm Please bring a yoga mat and some water. You can also bring your own hand weights if you like. Please make sure you have your GP's approval to train and you let me know of any injuries or illness that you have prior to any class. |
